Workshops 2024-25

I teach 2D wall pictures & Wall hangings & 3D sculpture felt workshops through-out Australia including places like NSW Art Gallery, Harvey Bay spinners, weavers and felters, in my studio in Leichhardt, and art schools such as Art Est school
I have been the guest artist at the Sydney Craft Fair where I taught workshops morning and afternoons for 5 days
I’ve also run workshops in places in Portugal, UK and Italy.
I love sharing my knowledge of felting and you can be a beginner or experience felter to learn from my workshops.

Design and create a unique sculptural vessel using pure merino wool in this inspiring one-day creative workshop. 
Textile artist Denise Lithgow will guide you through the process of making and moulding felt into innovative forms and shapes. You’ll learn how to form shapes and translate these into three-dimensional non-functional vessels. 

You’ll have the opportunity to explore works from the Gallery’s collection, or you can bring your own photos for inspiration. 
Suitable for beginners to experienced felters. No drawing skills required.
